I have been playing MMORPG since its BOOM through the game RAGNAROK. After graduating on ragnarok, I have tried numerous games with different game play.
I have played FLYFF (ph) – the first 3D flying game; pirate king online (international version); ROHAN ph, Weapons of War (aka talisman online).
And now after getting a referral from friend from magic the gathering forums and after seeing some awesome screenshots, I decided to try playing Rappelz.
After net searching on the game Rappelz I decided to play Deva thinking going Cleric.
Impression:
Nice graphics and nice sounds. I think slightly better than ROHAN, but way better than other MMORPG I played (ragna, flyff, WOW).
Coming from playing weapons of war, I find the game play difficult, all the alt + shortcut was somewhat messy for me but I think I could live with that. I also find the quest difficult in the sense that there is no auto path (again coming from WoW experience) to slay, and back to questor.
I also find the map huge, and not so abundant monster, like seeing a huge plain on sight. Monster name is a little tricky as at first glance they have the same name.
I like the pet system here, equipping pet and all.
I think playing more of this game will make me like this kind of game play.
I am currently at level 23 so I could not say more on the game play because there is a lot I have to learn.
I still have not learned those laks, those cards, and many other things. I am still on the process of learning the game.
I am exited though on getting a party and going dungeon.
